So what, exactly, is a "basic web site?"
In Robinson Web Design's terminology, it's like a brochure on the web. In other words, a basic web site is like an internet billboard. Basic sites don't contain a lot of interactivity - maybe just a "contact us" page (like
ours). They really just tell your story.
Isn't that rather boring?
Basic web sites don't have to be boring. This site
(with the exception of the hosting piece) is a basic site. It is designed to get Robinson Web Design's message to you, the potential customer.
Why would I go with a basic site?
There are a lot of reasons our customers choose basic web sites. Among them:
- Affordability - Basic sites cost less than advanced sites.
- Phased Implementation - Lots of customers come to us with the idea of establishing a basic web presence, then moving on to an advanced site.
- Needs - Some people just don't need more than a basic site!
What's included in my basic site?
Robinson Web Design will work with you to help you decide what you need. All of our sites, even the most simple, entry level site include:
- Domain name registration - Your "dot com" name for one year.
- Hosting - Space for your site on our server for one year.
- Individualized Design - With the simpler sites, there are not a lot of design decisions to be made, but it's your site. You're the one who needs to be happy with it. So you get to decide on any design elements that are important to you.
- Email accounts - you@yourbiz.com looks more professional than yourbiz@hotmail.com, doesn't it? You get 500 free email accounts with each site that we host.
